Description
Jorgensen Farms is a woman-owned, regenerative, working farm located on 100 acres just outside Columbus, Ohio. What began in 1992 as a small family farm—started by founder Val Jorgensen to raise her four sons with dirt under their fingernails—has grown into a beloved gathering place for the community.
In 2002, Val opened the farm to the public, welcoming people to celebrate life’s moments in a setting rooted in real farmland. Early couples married in a sheep barn with dirt floors, drawn to the simplicity and authenticity of the space. Today, Jorgensen Farms includes multiple event venues, a full-service catering kitchen, organic gardens, and hosts hundreds of weddings and events each year.
Everything grown on the farm is used locally, and stewardship of the land has remained at the heart of everything we do for over five generations. As we continue to grow, we’re also returning to our roots—with sheep coming back to the farm for the first time in over a decade.
Jorgensen Farms blends the warmth of a family farm with the beauty of intentional design, offering a place where people can gather, celebrate, and feel connected to the land.
